Welcome to introtofilm.com. I created this site to satisfy my passion for film. I studied film at BYU and was planning on becoming a cinematographer. Working on set was fun only for a few months. Slowly I realized that working 12-19 hour days, 6 days a week, hauling freaking heavy camera equiptment was crappy. I had no creative power and all the other professionals on set worked dillegently to disuade me from working in the film industry. The only person who hated film life more than me was my wife.
BUT, I still love movies! And when I watch a good movie, I feel so content to know that I did not have to sacrifice my body to help make that movie happen.
